Unico Suono

Filippo Sorcinelli experiences art as an intimate dialogue, capable of transforming into fragrance, and has decided to capture the echo of Caravaggio’s three paintings – The Calling of Saint Matthew, The Martyrdom of Saint Matthew, and Saint Matthew and the Angel. He thus created a olfactory journey that intertwines light, flesh, and the divine, inviting the wearer to cross new thresholds of perception and giving life to Unico Suono. 

This set contains three small pouches referencing three fabrics, those represented in each painting: velvet, linen, and wool with silk. Three scents as a synthesis of Caravaggio’s poetics. The Light. Human Painting. The Divine.
