Jordi Fernández is a senior perfumer at Givaudan, one of the world’s leading companies in the fragrance and flavor industry. Born and raised in Catalonia, Jordi was drawn to the art of perfumery from a young age, but unlike many perfumers who followed formal training paths, he is self-taught.

Jordi began his career in perfumery at Eurofragance, a family-owned fragrance company based in Barcelona. There, he quickly stood out as a highly creative and talented perfumer, with a deep understanding of the science behind fragrance formulation. In 2010, he joined Givaudan and began collaborating with numerous high-end fragrance brands, including Montblanc, Carolina Herrera, and Versace.

Jordi’s experience in traditional Middle Eastern perfumery has earned him a reputation as a master of oud and other exotic notes. He spent many years immersing himself in Middle Eastern culture, meeting people and visiting places to gain a deep understanding of the region’s olfactory preferences and traditions. His versatility as a perfumer is evident in his ability to create a wide range of fragrances, from minimalist compositions to more opulent creations.
